localStorage (set by our code, stays on your device)
The generator can remember your style choices — dot shape, colors, gradient, error correction level, and margin — under the key qrcrafter:style:v1. That is the only thing our code stores. Content you type, logos you upload, and images you decode are never stored. If you switch saving off, the saved styles are deleted immediately and a single key (qrcrafter:persist) records the "off" choice so it survives your next visit.
If you block everything
You can block all cookies and site data for this domain in your browser settings and the tool remains fully functional — generation and decoding do not depend on any stored data. The only difference is that your style choices reset between visits.
